Moroccan Center for Export Promotion (CMPE)

  • The Moroccan Center for Export Promotion Center (CMPE) is a public entity with the sole purpose of promoting exports of Moroccan manufactured goods. CMPE is a non-profit public Organization, under the auspices of the Ministry in charge of Foreign Trade. CMPE was established in June 1981 to serve as the national focal point for trade promotion and export development.

    Since its inception, CMPE's mission has been included the following:

    * to promote and expand the market for Moroccan exports in goods and services by penetrating new markets and preserving existing ones,
    * to act as a centre for trade and business information, to provide support, guidance and orientation to Moroccan companies regarding their export activities,
    * to improve the competitiveness of Moroccan companies in foreign markets,
    * to promote and encourage international business cooperation between Moroccan and foreign enterprises,
    * to strengthen Morocco's image world-wide as a reputable trade and business partner.
